Welcome!

I’m an actor, director, writer and educator. For many years I’ve performed on stage, in front of the camera and behind the mic. Feel free to poke around and read about the shows I’ve had the pleasure of working on, (About Mel). If you wanna hear a little of what I sound like, there are two reels (commercial and animation) here too. I’ve especially enjoyed playing small, enthusiastic Nola the turtle on 3 seasons of Agent Binky: Pets of the Universe, now airing on Peacock (US) for which I was nominated for a 2023 Canadian Screen award. When not performing I’m an educator at the Humber School of Comedy, and have enjoyed many years as a director and creative consultant at Toronto’s Second City.
